As expected, the annual VB100 test on Windows XP was an epic. A higher than usual pass rate was tempered by numerous stability issues with the products under test, prompting the unveiling of a new stability rating system. In a test with 56 products rated, 8 failed – Emsisoft for a single false positive, F-Secure, iolo, Sophos and Trustport for Wildlist misses (to name a few). ESET ranked up yet another VB100 – still more than any other vendor!
