Now, when you get your renewal notice – the link is personalized to you – and you should be presented with the same license you already have.. the only choice is whether you want 1 year of renewal protection – or TWO… BRILLIANT!!
The next improvement came about because of this personalized link – customers told us that they cannot remember their license details.. well, we’ve always had ways to look up this information, but a frustration is a frustration… so we put on our thinking caps and re-coded the renewal page such that is has security and safety built-in – changed all the links to use the SSL encrypted side of our website (you know, the padlock that means your communication to us is encrypted) – and then we look-up the customers license details and put them on the screen for you!! BRILLIANT!!!
Well this is just the start – we have a laundry-list of other improvements to make and we’ll be rolling them out in the coming weeks.. everything is designed to help you, our customers, renew your protection with ease…

The most commonly heard frustration from our customers is that renewal of your license isn’t easier – too many options, forgotten username, logins, etc, etc.
It has been our goal to reduce frustration… of course we don’t want to upset our customers – and we’ve always been here on the phone to take renewals during business hours – but sorry, we do sleep – and that means self-service renewal customers don’t have that option at say, 11PM or 2AM.
We have always sent customers renewal reminders with a renewal link in the email – and when you click on them as a customer, you were presented with a page full of renewal options – from 1-computer through to 5-computers, ESET antivirus (NOD32) – and also ESET Smart Security – and for those with ESET CyberSecurity – another set of options for their macintosh protection… the most common mistake the customers made, was to buy the wrong license… when that happened, it delayed issuing the renewal, and caused more frustration for customers.
