  Download ESET Mobile Security (Mobile Security and Antivirus) from Google play or Amazon.com

1. Using your Android device, start the Google Play or Amazon.com Appstore app and search for ESET Mobile Security. You can also visit the Google Play store or Amazon.com Appstore using your computer and trigger your download remotely.

2. Tap Install (in Google Play) or Free → Get App (in the Amazon.com Appstore).

3. Review the privileges for ESET Mobile Security and tap Install when you are ready to continue.

4. Tap Open once installation is complete.
5. Select your desired language and country, tap End User License Agreement to review the terms and then tap Accept.

6. If you downloaded ESET Mobile Security from Amazon.com, enter your email address and tap Next. This email address will be used in case you forget your security password.

7. Select I want to be a part of ESET Live Grid (recommended) and click Next.

8. In the Detection of Potentially Unwanted Applications window, select your preferred option (see What is a potentially unwanted application?) and click Next.

9. Tap Finish to close the Setup Wizard.

10. If you have purchased a license, proceed to instructions to activate ESET Mobile Security for Android.

  Download ESET Mobile Security from ESET.com

1. Using your computer or Android device, open the ESET Mobile Security download page.Android 2.2 and earlier users: install version 1.x from the Download page.If you are unsure which version of Android you are running, press the Menu button, tap Settings → About phone and look at the number under “Android version” (some users may also need to tap “Software information”).
2. Select your operating system and language using the drop-down menus and then click or tap Download.

3. If you downloaded the installer (an .apk file) to your computer, transfer it to your Android device using Bluetooth or USB. If you downloaded the installer directly to your Android device, continue to step 4.
4. Tap the installer file. Tap Install when you are ready to continue.

Activate ESET Mobile Security for Android

1.  Open ESET Mobile Security for Android.
2. Tap to bring up the context menu and then tap License.
3. Tap Activate using a Username and Password, or if you are performing your first activation after purchasing ESET Multi-Device Security, tap Activate using an Activation Key.
4. Type your Username and Password or Activation Key (including the hyphens) into the appropriate field and tap Activate. When verification of your license is completed, Activation successful will be displayed.

Once activated, Activate and configure Anti-Theft protection in ESET Mobile Security for Android.

Download & activate ESET Mobile Security from Micro Center If you purchased ESET Mobile Security from Micro Center, you need to download the specified version of ESET Mobile Security for your Micro Center activation key to successfully activate your product. To do so, follow the instructions below: Figure 4-1 Figure 4-2 Figure 4-3

1. Tap Settings (in some cases, Menu → Settings) → Applications (or Manage Applications), and then tap the check box next to Unknown Sources. Tap OK to continue.
2. On your Android device, visit the following link to download the ESET Mobile Security for Android installer:
   • eset.com/us/qr/ems/microcenter
3. When the download is finished, open the .apk file on your Android device using a file browsing utility and follow the instructions on-screen to install ESET Mobile Security for Android.
4. Tap to bring up the context menu and then tap License.
5. Tap Activate Application using your Activation Key.
6. Type the Activation Key (including the hyphens) from the Installation and Activation card included with your Micro Center purchase into the appropriate field and tap Activate. When verification of your license is completed, Activation successful will be displayed.

Once activated, Activate and configure Anti-Theft protection in ESET Mobile Security for Android.

The ESET download page uses a ‘smart location detection’ to try and give you the correct page for your location. Sometimes the detection is not so smart and gets the wrong location – or – it can default back to Slovakian. Either way, if you get a page you cannot read the page, look for the language selector in the top-right of the page. Click the name of the language they are showing you, and select the region and language which are more appropriate for your download. On the left you will see ‘Americas’ – click that, and you should be able to select ‘United States and Canada’. Alternatively – select this direct download link: ESET US Download.
